We have the same problem with vcentre converter standalone 5.0.1: Unknown exception.

vSphere Server 10.6.81.50

source 10.6.81.170

version: 5.0.1 Version-875114

dns resolve correct

telnet from source to vSphere Converter open both ports to blank window so ok.

we have this problem, with resize an without.
