Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
The VM remove or VM destroy is not standard in any triggers for vSphere 5.0-U2. I searched for VM delete as well. In Advanced I added a condition value=VM removed. From the only relevant list I could find for a VM being deleted.
Virtual Machine Event Triggers.
Deployment: VM created, VM auto renamed, VM being closed, VM being creating, VM
deploying, VM emigrating, VM hot migrating, VM migrating, VM reconfigured,
VM registered, VM removed, VM renamed, VM relocating, VM upgrading.
Cannot complete clone, Cannot migrate, Cannot relocate, Cannot upgrade.
It did not work as I think the event is not hooked to an Alarm trigger.
Seems so simple. Maybe I am overlooking something.
I wonder why there is no present trigger for VM delete/removed/destroyed?
I will look into powershell, it is an amazing tool.
Thanks
