If the Virtual Machine's are configured to use Bridged Networking then you can stop the Host itself from having Internet/Network Connectivity by unchecking all but VMware Bridge Protocol in the Host's Network Adapter's properties. Or at the very least uncheck, Client for Microsoft Networks, File and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks, Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
